Improvements Before Selling Your WI Real Estate...
WI fsbo homes in less than acceptable condition should absolutely be brought up to standard by way of simply making improvements to the cause of the properties poor condition. Improvements though are just as they are stated... "improvements", not to be confused with spending money to add additions to the home which are not really needed.
For example holes in drywall are something that NEED to be fixed, as this would be something that could potentially prevent you from selling the WI fsbo home. Adding a deck on your home however, is not a necessary improvement. Sure the deck may look nice, but chances are based on recent cost vs. improvement surveys, you are not going to make money in the final sale of the home from such "non necessary improvements", in fact you will probably end up eating some of the money you put into the "unnecessary improvement", or break even at best...
