1 room open NOW and/or summer in amazing 2br downtown townhouse apt
looking for a male or female to take a 1 bedroom open in a 2 bedroom 1050 square foot townhouse apartment located on w. johnson and broom. that's near all the day/night time fun and a 3 minute busride to campus (bus stop is half a block away), or if you feel like walkin...g, about 10 minutes. The apartment itself is new with lots of space. Some other great highlights are a dishwasher, 1.5 baths, patio, courtyard, cap center foods 1 block away, statestreet 1/2 block away and of course two great roommates. We have two very friendly cats. Me and my roommate are two seniors who are pretty into our studies and are relatively quiet people but we like to have a good time on the weekends like everyone else. we are both employed as well. The total rent (including utilities and cable) would range between $450-475. we're looking to have someone move in asap or for a summer sublet. If you'd like pictures feel free to ask!!

I will be moving shortly and am in need of a sublet for my gorgeous apartment starting as soon as mid-January. I love this place and am sad to see it go but am moving on to bigger and better things. The apartment includes a fireplace, underground heated parking and bike racks, washer/dryer in unit, dishwasher/microwave/garbage disposal, newer appliances, air conditioning, walk out elevated porch, lots of sunshine, large picture windows in the living room, beautiful wood finish in the bathroom and bedroom, hardwood floors and walk in closet. The building was built in 2004 and is clean and in good repair. The maintenance staff are fast, efficient and very privacy-conscious. My neighbors are quiet and the location is ideal for anyone who works at the VA Hospital, UW Hospital (both about 2 blocks away) or anywhere downtown. It is on the bus line for numerous routes, right behind a strip mall that includes a Qdoba, Felly's Flowers, Texas Tubb's Taco Palace and a UPS store. There are bike paths nearby as well as Hilldale Mall and it is located minutes from Mineral Point Road, University Ave and the Beltline. Honestly, the best apartment I've ever lived in!
